The Speaker joined bishops, clergy and Christians in Tororo to honour the outgoing Archbishop of the Church of Uganda.
At St. Peter's Cathedral, Tororo, the Speaker joined bishops, clergy, leaders and Christians in honouring the outgoing Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, the Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu.
The Speaker praised the Archbishop for what he described as a fearless and consistent voice on integrity and accountability, saying his willingness to speak candidly on questions of character and public office had shaped leadership well beyond the pulpit. He noted that the Archbishop had also pushed the Church's mission into education, health, livelihoods, social development and peacebuilding.
