The Speaker held bilateral discussions with the Ambassador of South Sudan to Uganda, H.E. Paul Malong Akaro, aimed at strengthening parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of closer collaboration between the two Parliaments, and the Speaker committed to support the South Sudan legislature through institutional partnerships, capacity building and parliamentary exchange programmes.
