The Speaker attended the 55th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Africa Region Conference in Malawi.
The Speaker travelled to Lilongwe, Malawi, for the 55th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Africa Region Conference at the Bingu International Convention Centre, held under the theme "Renewing the Social Contract: Parliaments as Catalysts for Inclusive Growth and Citizen Trust".
The conference focused on strengthening parliamentary democracy and legislative oversight, rebuilding public trust and deepening inclusive governance through greater transparency. The CPA Africa Region brings together 63 national and subnational legislatures.
